Discovering the Divine Capacity Hidden Within Humanity

Introduction
One of the greatest questions that has occupied the hearts and minds of humanity throughout generations and beats the imagination of angels is:
“What is man?”
Beyond our physical appearance, achievements, weaknesses, and limitations lies a deeper spiritual reality.
Man is not merely a biological creation existing within the boundaries of the earth. Scripture reveals that humanity carries a divine purpose, a unique identity, and an extraordinary capacity designed by God Himself.
The question is not only about who man is but also about what man carries.
A closer look at the journey of Lionel Messi provides a powerful illustration of this truth.
Messi and the Mystery of Hidden Potential
The difference between Messi in 2018 and Messi in 2022 tells a remarkable story about potential, expectation, and manifestation.
In 2018, the world witnessed a player with extraordinary talent, incredible creativity, and unmatched football intelligence. His ability was undeniable.
Yet, despite possessing such greatness, his impact at the global tournament level did not match the expectations placed upon him.
The disappointment became so intense that Messi announced his retirement from international football after what many considered one of the greatest frustrations of his career.
Four years later, Argentina entered another World Cup campaign with massive expectations.
After suffering an unexpected defeat against Saudi Arabia, criticism intensified. Many looked toward Messi, expecting him to perform the impossible—to create magic, change games, and carry the hopes of millions.
But something changed.
The Messi that people had always known began to emerge.
The brilliance, leadership, and excellence that were already inside him became visible.
Messi did not become Messi in 2022.
He simply revealed the Messi that had always been there.
And this teaches us a powerful spiritual lesson:
The problem is not always the absence of ability. Sometimes, the challenge is bringing out what is already deposited within.
What Is Man?
The Scriptures reveal that man is God's masterpiece.
Psalm 139:14 declares:
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
Man was intentionally designed by God.
Humanity was not an afterthought. Before the foundation of the world, God had a purpose for man.
When God desired a representation of Himself in the physical realm, He chose humanity.
Genesis 1:26 says:
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”
This reveals the uniqueness of man.
Among all created beings, man carries a special representation of God’s image and likeness.
The Creature That Hosts God
One of the greatest mysteries of creation is this:
The heavens cannot contain God.
Solomon declared:
“Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee...”
(1 Kings 8:27)
The universe is too small to contain the fullness of God.
Yet, there is a creature that God chose as His dwelling place.
That creature is man.
God created humanity with the capacity to host His presence.
This is why man's existence carries such significance.
Man is not merely created to live on earth.
Man was created to carry heaven’s reality into the earth.
Jesus: The Fullness of God in Human Form
The greatest demonstration of man's capacity is found in Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:7 says:
“But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.”
Jesus came in the form of man.
Yet, while walking on earth, He carried the fullness of God.
Colossians 2:9 declares:
“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
The God whom heaven cannot contain was fully revealed through a human body.
This reveals the incredible design of humanity.
God did not create man merely as a vessel to exist.
He created man as a vessel to reveal Him.
Christ In You: The Hope of Glory
The mystery that was hidden for generations has now been revealed.
Colossians 1:27 declares:
“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
God's ultimate desire is not simply to visit humanity.
He desires to dwell within humanity.
From the beginning, God walked with Adam in the cool of the day. His desire has always been fellowship, communication, and partnership with man.
Through Christ, believers become carriers of God's presence.
God is in His Son.
His Son is in us.
Therefore, we carry His glory wherever we go.
Your Capacity Is Greater Than Your Circumstances
Many people focus on what is happening around them while ignoring what God has placed within them.
The greatest question is not only:
“What challenge am I facing?”
The deeper question is:
“What has God deposited inside me to overcome and transform this situation?”
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says:
“He hath set the world in their heart...”
God has placed something extraordinary within humanity.
There is creativity.
There is wisdom.
There is divine ability.
There is purpose.
There is a capacity waiting to be discovered.
The World Is Waiting For The Manifestation
Romans 8:19 declares:
“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
Creation is waiting for the revelation of people who understand their identity in God.
The world does not only need believers who speak about God.
It needs believers who reveal God through their lives.
Through their creativity.
Through their leadership.
Through their compassion.
Through their influence.
Through their Kingdom assignments.
The manifestation begins when we become conscious of what we carry.
Why Is Man The Target Of The Enemy?
If man carries such divine purpose, then it explains why humanity has always faced opposition.
The enemy understands what many people fail to recognize:
There is glory inside man.
There is purpose inside man.
There is a divine assignment attached to man.
The battle is not only against who you are today.
The battle is against who you are becoming when Christ is fully revealed through you.
It Is Time To Reveal What Is Inside You
Just as Messi had to reveal the Messi that was already within him, believers must reveal Christ that is within them.
The Christian journey is not only about receiving salvation.
It is about allowing the life of Christ within us to become visible.
We are called to host Him.
We are called to carry Him.
We are called to reveal Him.
Final Charge
Discover who God has made you to be.
Grow in your relationship with Him.
Become conscious of Christ within you.
Do not measure yourself only by your current circumstances.
There is more inside you than you have discovered.
Remember:
“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
The world is waiting.
Creation is waiting.
Your generation is waiting.
It is time for the sons of God to manifest.
God has made us carriers of Himself.
