Amos 3:3 - Can two walk together, except they be agreed?[KJV]

Luke 11:23 - He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.[KJV]

Matthew 12:25 - And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

In the light of the scriptures above, it's worthy of note to view love and unity as the stabilisers of every kingdom or household. Any other attitudinal interest or manifestation that consistently seeks to benefit only oneself or select few, might put that love and unity at risk. Thereby, internal conflicts, unhealthy inhibitions, suspicion and offenses become the order of the day.

Satan hates the unity of brethren. When believers are of same mind and interest, it becomes uneasy for the gates of hell to penetrate through with their diabolical projections.

Every part of the body of Christ, of which you are, is expected to minister or contribute to the body (ministry) as we learnt this past Sunday.

Ephesians 4:16 - Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.[NLT]

Each one of you has something specific and special to minister to the other members to help them enrich their spiritual walk with the Lord. 

Example:

If you have the gift of edification or exhortation by way of singing, your worship song ministration has to stir up something in me to enrich my fellowship with the Holy Ghost.

We have to be careful what we minister to others.

Do you know that what believers discuss when they come together is crucial to their development or destruction?

When two believers met in person or virtually, the Holy Ghost has interest in that meeting 🤔

Are you amazed? On Sunday I told you about that specific thing the Lord hate above all detestable attitudes; sowing discord among brethren. And you the one too who allows a talebearer to destabilize your heart falls from/off grace

1 Corinthians 14:26 - How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.[KJV]

 Whatever you tell a brother has to be said in love to edify that brother. It is not the wrong thing that the other person did that you have been sanctioned to communicate to the victim. You have to consider how your brother might feel first. The truth must be told in love

 There has to be a way to address or report issues to those we suspect might be affected. If you don't convey the message appropriately, you stand to be a talebearer according to God's word.

Proverbs 11:13 - A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.

 Ask yourself: what's your motive for disclosing the matter? You either have been instructed by the spirit of God, or your flesh pushed you to. Don't forget that we have a duty to edify our hearers.

Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.[KJV]

Corrupt communication often leaves people very broken, sometimes offended and discouraged . Your words should edify and not make others fail to serve God.

Hebrews 12:15 - Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; [KJV]

 Why must I be the one who stirs up bitterness in the heart of a brother or sister, when I only thought I was just disclosing a matter to him or her?

 I have a responsibility to season my word with salt. That is love

Ephesians 4:15 - But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:[KJV]

John.17.19 - And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.[KJV]

Sanctify your heart before talking, sharing,preaching to other brethren, so as to edify them. Let be conscious of what we minister to our brethren.

 Those of you who easily gets offended in the house of God are still in the flesh. You have to pray for that brother or sister to receive forgiveness or for the grace of God to change him or her.

 Offence in the house of God makes believers grow cold towards their service to God. Beware of offences.

Matthew 18:7 - Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

If I report a brother to you and you get so offended, I must have an answer for the Lord

Luke 17:1 - Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

 Instead of tagging that brother, let him be your target 🎯 in prayer... Your prayer point📍

 Connecting and Collecting Grace

Any little thing that would stand in your way to the grace filled life must be discarded. Let nothing be done with strife or bitter envying or apathy. Get rid of bitterness... Busy minded people don't have time for hearsay and rumours: idleness is a recipotory of rumours and bitterness. Stay active in service and shun the company of bitter spirit stealing the passion and plans to express your love

Find what you have been called to do for the ministry and edify others

Don't allow that foul spirit that turns and taints leader's image to steal your heart. 

This is God's word... If you find it offensive or as an attack, check your heart again. 

Be humble and fear God.

WHO SHALL DELIVER ME FROM THIS BODY OF BONDAGE

 

Episode 2 | Pastor Manuel Writes

Our first episode is indicative of the fact that man was created with much glory and honour (dignity), and wielded with so much dominion over all things...as a free moral agent until the fall of man( the sin of Adam and its attendant effect on creation) . 

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". (Romans 3:23) 

"For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life" (Romans 6:23)

Did man really die? Emphatically, yes! Because 

life as defined by God, is a continuous(unabated) flow of perfection and goodness, characterized by self generating and sustaining abilities. 

Life is expected to be a ceaseless flow of perfection and goodness( expectations, desires and their manifestation).

 Anything short of perfection(as expected) and goodness (tangible manifestation of expectations), according to the word of God is in the region of death. Life is meant to be self fulfilling and refresh- ing....not to be under the influence of strange desires and unchecked appetites that keep men bound. Unfortunately, such has become the bane of men; the unexpected and misfortune happening all the time not willingly but, because of what happened in the garden of Eden.

"they all walk on in darkness: the foundations of the earth are out of course" (Psalms 82:5)

This scripture suggests that the very foundation of life is out of balance with God's purpose. And as such, nature has taken a different turn altogether, not leaving man. Man has since been on a search for that life that satisfies and play out as expected. Hence, the pleasure-seeking life assumed by all men.

YOU HAVE TO WALK IN DIGNITY AGAIN: RISE TO YOUR CALLING

 

Episode 1 | Pastor Manuel Writes

Growing up, we took to certain habits out of curiosity or pleasure seeking. It looked harmless and somewhat controllable until we plunged ourselves into the addiction zone. Some are into uncontrollable usage of hard drugs and alcoholism to an extreme point of social exclusion and loss of societal respect. This isn't a dignified life at all.

And God said, " Let us make man in our image, after our likeness : and let them have dominion over all...." Genesis 1:26 

The above scripture underpins the fact that God made man in His own image( fearfully and wonderfully made above all creation), to exercise authority in the earth without any restriction whatsoever as a free moral agent; man was indeed a master of his world ,crowned with glory and honour. [Hebrews 2:7] "Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:"

It is however, no mistake to think of man as a glorious being who was in absolute charge of his choices and intentions ; this life was a honourable and dignified life which knows no bounds until sin first entered the world through Adam's disobedience. Sin activated a negative law at work in all men: Man stepped out of glory and honour...."For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) . A law known as the law of sin and death began to have its way in man, eliciting wild choices and unrestricted cravings for wrong stuff. It gave rise to a compulsive drive to fulfill ill desires beyond man's control. "For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. [Romans 7:19 (KJV)]

It isn't the will of man to stray from moral and religious laws but that element of sin within him spurs him on. "I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. [Romans7:21(KJV)] This is the reason people get addicted to certain habits that compromise their health and dignity, yet, they can not put a stop to them; such habits are driven by an inner force beyond human control. This is the power of the law of sin and death at work in every man who hasn't met Christ Jesus.

PUSH THROUGH: THERE ARE MORE TITLES FOR GRABS

In what seemed very real  and spiced up with great anticipation for rewards (trophies) in the kingdom of God, I saw title belts and many crowns under discussion in a vision I had this morning. 

A great man of God who doubles as  prophet and teacher was spelling out the rules of engagement in the spirit realm with regard qualifications for kingdom trophies.  He talked about how titles are won and lost in the spirit. 

That a title is won isn't enough. It has to be worn  by the faithful as a token of advancement for a continues active service for its retention and further grabs.Whatever is  bestowed upon deserving faithfuls are to pep them up to continue to serve kingdom purpose.

He intimated further that ,for titles, it's not just the wearing of them around the waist but how fitting they are around the loins of the benefactor.  

He said further that once the individual begins to emaciate (grown lean) , the title drops and are taken off immediately.

He again said prayerlessness can cause the loins to emaciate drastically.

"There are certain titles that I won't dare mention nor bring close to a man of God who doesn't love fasting",he said.

It appeared  highly despicable to men in this particular vision to see a man of God crave for titles he does not deserve solely because of these fundamentals of spirituality for every leader. 

Prayerlessness and lack of fastings make a spiritual man less attractive and glowless. ~ Pastor Manuel 

Beloved, our activities in the spirit space are quantified and rewarded accordingly. Never you think for once that your works and labour are in vain.

The titles defined here are not Bishop, Reverend, Apostle among others. 

But promotions and spiritual rankings. 

Don't lag in zeal. 

The greater your zeal, the thicker your loins: Title belts are up for grabs. 

Push yourself through for grabs. 

Without love or zeal one is considered blind and helpless in the spirit. 

Matthew 23:24 - Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.[KJV]

2 Peter 1:7 - And to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.[NIV]

2 Peter 1:8 - For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.[KJV]

2 Peter 1:9 - But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.[KJV]

Do all things in love. I want to see the endtime zeal freely flowing through my being.  It's a must to always abound in the work of the Lord. 

I want to excel in the work of the Lord

Revive your works in the midst of the years prior to your coming Oh Lord!

THE AUTHORITY OF GOD’s WORD

Someone asked me quite recently , ”do you think you are God?”. (I never remember telling it out , “I am a god “ , but , erstwhile, I had acted audaciously without fear or doubt because of the truths I have discovered and imbibed from God’s word … this had espoused his resentful remarks).

My response is: How do you read the scriptures, just as Jesus asked the Pharisees?

 What does your Bible tell you?

It is very instructive telling us to study to show ourselves approved unto God… isn’t it ? 

But why is the emphasis on study , meditate or read ?

Could there be a sublime twist to what our natural mind knows about the word of God? I guess that might be the reason Apostle Paul prayed for the Church at Ephesus to be granted the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of his will…. 

Let’s consider the Book of beginnings; Genesis, as posited by Apostle John in the gospels.

“ In the Beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD and the WORD was GOD”

What's the word or what does it encapsulate?

I understand God’s word to be God himself. The very breath of God with divine essence ….also known as His revealed will , purpose or plan concerning a people or places or a given situation in line with His provisions in Christ Jesus. It is the creative power of God carrying divine essence. The “constituent” of God’s word is a divine force with an undeniable creative ability and the very nature of God.

It is however, the sanctifying truth of God that positions anything into alignment with God’s plans.

Imagine imbibing divinity into your being continually for the rest of your life. Why won’t you be that audacious?

Let’s take a look at these scriptures: 

John.10:34 - Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?[KJV]

And….

 John.10:35 - If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;[KJV]

The word came to a generation(the children of Israel), and God called them gods.

Think about this : Just by receiving the word of God they were captured as gods. This was the case with Moses after his encounter with God. He had just begun hearing the voice of God in the burning bush and subsequent engagements with God’s voice.

Exodus 4:15 - And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.[KJV]

Exodus 4:16 - And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.[KJV]

Exodus 4:29 - And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:[KJV]

Exodus 4:30 - And Aaron spake all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.[KJV]

Who did the signs?

Do you know that God actually made Moses a God unto Aaron and Pharoah?

Exodus 7:10 - And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: _and Aaron cast down *his rod* before Pharaoh_, _and before his servants, and it became a serpent.[KJV]

Whose rod is mentioned here , Aaron’s ,right?

Is it not amazing?

It was that same Moses' rod that hitherto was casted on the ground before the Lord .

But because God made him a God unto his brother and pharoah , he gave instructions to his brother ; putting words in his brother’s mouth.

Verily ,Moses stood in the stead of God as he was commissioned and promised to return to Egypt to deliver God’s inheritance (Israel).

Moses was just like God to his God’s people, especially Aaron and pharoah.

Take your faith life seriously. Endeavour to dig deep into God’s word for yourself. Never downplay any opportunity to learn Gods word or to think of His promises made you; they are so reliable.

Knowledge makes you vitally an authoritative figure

BE HUMBLE AND FEAR ME

 The Lord corrected me with a strong hand: “Be humble and fear me”

I had just finished preaching the word which stirred the faith of my audience so much ...driving them into faith confessions than this gracious  stern hand of God  convicted me of a wrong position I believe most ministers assume in relation to messages of blessings and great promises they preach or teach.

Isaiah 8:11

“For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand,and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,”

Just like the above warning served the prophet Isaiah, the Lord asked me why I was so indifferent to a message that should normally excite and keep the hearts of His children hopeful. 

He said to me, “Just as you are to exemplify the moral teachings you give to my people, so are you to manifest the faith messages and the messages on blessings “. Wow! I was awakened to a new dawn of bliss : Indeed the husbandman is the first partaker of his fruits.

2 Timothy 2:6

“The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

Our words are not limited to only our audience but effective also in our lives as preacher to prosper us. 

He said to me, Be humble... !  Beloved, whatever message the Lord sends to the church benefits the bearer of the message. 

Fear God : the word is very effectual in the life of the preacher too.

EVERY CHRISTIAN HAS THE RIGHT TO FUNCTION IN HEAVEN'S COURTROOM(What Every Prayerless Christian Should Know)

Our prayer life has to be reignited with an unparalleled passion and fervency; an unrelenting attitude towards prayer with convictions of its necessity.

Men ought always to pray and not to faint is a divine command and obligation to prayer ...but beyond that, this year’s theme is indicative of a warlike spiritual life that settles for nothing less than spiritual violence and diligence in faith. Watching and praying at all times.

Prayer, to the saint, is an invitation to participate in the divine programming for the happenings in the earth. As partakers of the divine nature, it is of a necessity for us to know how best we participate or contribute to the divine programming in the earth; how we can officially allow or disallow certain happenings from taking place. 

There is a provision for the saints of God in the heaven’s system of governance over the earth; a mandate to demand and effect changes to events and situations that are against heaven’s order or agenda for humanity. We either bind or loose with authority via declaration of, or praying the word(His will) into being. This is one of our key roles in the earth 🌍 as a matter of fact and urgency.

" Verily I say unto you, What things soever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and what things soever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 18:18)

You have to know and appreciate the authority given us by God in scripture.

“When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.” (Psalm 102:16 & 17)

When does the Lord appear in His glory ? When He builds up Zion.

And how does He appear in His glory? 👇🏽

“And SAVIOURS shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.” (Obadiah 1:20)

We are the Saviours foretold by the spirit of prophecy through the prophets, who should  manifest the Lord’s glory by judging the mount of Esau. Note from scripture that Esau represents the flesh and all things that aren’t consistent with scripture (the will of God). And it lies within our remit to judge those deviations by pressing our charges against the devil or pleading our case in the throneroom. We have access to the Father, the Judge of all and the Lawgiver, who presides over all cases bordering on happenings in the earth from throne perspective.

“There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?” James 4:12

We know of only one Judge; The Almighty, Most High God, who rules over the affairs of this life without any known objections. His judgements are final and authoritative.  

All other happenings in this life are cases agreed on and passed by powers or thrones or dominions or principalities. But as children of light who constitute part of the heaven’s courtroom officials (heaven’s government), we know via the revelation of God’s will that there’s only one Judge and Lawgiver in heaven. Hence, all other judgements must align with heaven’s ruling . If not, we take our rightful place in the courtroom to avenge every form of discordant view to our supreme ruling, in prayer. 

Whenever you declare in the name of Jesus through thanksgiving, you enter the courtroom for hearing(a portal is opened for hearing and trial). The council is always seated for proceedings or hearing from you. Are you ready to petition heaven? You ought to know the things written in heaven’s books ( these writings are replete in the Bible); whenever the judgement is set, you have to issue edicts based on the records noted in the scripture of truth The Word of God.

“A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousands of thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and THE BOOKS WERE OPENED”. (Daniel 7:10)

We enter His courts with thanksgiving. As you lift up your thanksgiving to Him, the council gets seated .

“But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever” (Daniel 7:26)

Rise up now and get thing straightened now: Rid loved ones out of the grips of the enemy, deliver the afflicted and send help to the poor.

This is what we do most often in prayer.
